Título

Digitalized Versions of Research Instruments for the Health Area

Introdução

The purpose of this study was to create a website titled “Versões Digitalizadas de Instrumentos de Pesquisa para a Área de Saúde” and the English’s version “Ditalized Versions of Reseach Instruments for the Health Area”, (https://sites.google.com/view/dtm-e-sono/home) to make available instruments adapted cross-culturally and validated for brazilian portuguese and its original versions.

Objetivo

The purpose of this website is to facilitate the collection, tabulation, and analysis of data in epidemiological scientific research.

Métodos

It was created from Google Workspace resources such as Google Forms. The instruments available are: SN-5 - Evaluation of Respiratory, Synonasal and Quality of Life Symptoms in Children, QAQM - Chewing Quality Assessment Questionnaire, DC/TMD - Criteria for Diagnosis for Temporomandibular Disorders: Clinical Protocol and Assessment Instruments, STOP - Bang - A practical approach to tracking Obstructive Sleep Apnea, ESS-BR - Validation of the Sleepiness Scale of Epworth in Portuguese for use in Brazil, Berlin Questionnaire for Language Portuguese and its application in the identification of OSAS in a consultation of sleep respiratory pathology, PosaST - Screening for Obstructive Apnea of the Pediatric Sleep, S.A.C.S. - Apnea Clinical Assessment Parameters of Adult Sleep, CPQ 8-10 - Quality of Life Assessment Questionnaire in Oral Health for Children from 8 to 10 Years of Age, CPQ 11-14 - Children's Oral Health Quality of Life Assessment Questionnaire from 11 to 14 years of age.

Resultados

Access to the instruments on the website is made possible by Link or QR code and can be accessed by computers, smartphones, and tablets.

Conclusões

In conclusion, the self-administered questionnaires in the health area, validated for Brazilian Portuguese, made available electronically through this research, on Google Sites, can to be an effective tool to facilitate data collection, reduce research costs, contribute to the application dynamics in data tabulation and evaluation of results, both in clinical practice and in scientific research in the area of ​​public health and epidemiology.
